Past
With vineyards in the Neto Family for 3 generations, Quinta da Lagoa Velha was officially founded in 1969, producing and selling wine in bulk. In 2001, Carla Neto took over the project's leadership and began marketing her wines under the Quinta da Lagoa Velha brand and image.
Present
In 2018, Quinta da Lagoa Velha underwent a complete rebranding and relaunch. In 2020, the cellar's facilities and equipment were renovated, along with the methodology implemented. Year after year, the improvement of QLV wines is notorious, a product of constant innovation and refinement of its viticulture and enology, with several national and international distinctions.
Future
Never forgetting the preservation of its history and tradition, Quinta da Lagoa Velha seeks to establish itself as a producer of unique wines with identity in the Bairrada region. Driven by a young team at the company's core, investing in development and continuous improvement for future generations.

EXPLOREOur Cellar

One with traditional lagares, used for the vinification of reds, cement vats for fermentation and storage of white wines, and an oak barrels’ space where we do our tastings. And another, more recent area, with stainless steel tanks for white fermentation. All these tanks and lagares are connected to a temperature control system so that all vinification takes place with the utmost care.

We also have our own laboratory, where we periodically carry out an analytical control of all the wines, and a storage and finishing area, where we label and prepare the wines for shipment.
